A Dunkin’ Donuts is opening near Highland Shopping Center on Raeford Road in early 2012.
It will be the first of four Dunkin’ Donuts locations planned by franchisee Pinehurst Donuts LLC in the Fayetteville, Southern Pines and Sanford areas by 2016.
The Fayetteville site is at the former Highland Pure service station, at the corner of Raeford Road and Executive Place. The property, owned by the Mary Talley family, is about 2,000 square feet.
Pinehurst Donuts is headed up by Ken Baer and Pat Corso, former executives at Pinehurst Resort and partners in National Resort Management in Pinehurst.
