The owner of a chain of fast food restaurants across Lancashire has seen his stores shatter records throughout Christmas and New Year.
Nigel Dunnington, the franchisee who owns eight McDonald’s restaurants, said sales shoppers lifted sales at his stores on December 23, 27 and 28 with its branches at the Deepdale Shopping Park and Capitol Centre in Preston shattering breakfast menu records on Boxing Day.
The 24-hour Capitol Centre branch saw sales up 20% on last year with breakfast sales up 15% on the same period.
He also owns the stores on Friargate and Fishergate in Preston city centre, the branch on Churchill Way, Leyland, two restaurants in Blackpool and one in Lytham. Full article.
