On January 9, 2012 Owner William Cantey of Dr. Energy Saver® Columbia, hand-delivered donations to three chosen charities according to the results of the franchisee’s holiday campaign.

From December 1 to 25, the franchisee’s “Energy Elves” program divided $10,000 among three local branches of: the United Way, American Red Cross and Komen for the Cure. Each charity was given the task to retrieve as many votes using the Dr. Energy Saver voting system. Only one vote per day, per email address was allowed. The amount donated was dependent upon the voting results.

“They are all great organizations to work with and we appreciate all they do for the community,” said William Cantey, owner of Dr. Energy Saver Columbia. “My wife, Katie, and I are excited to give back to such great organizations!”
