The company that is bringing Victoria’s Secret to the Middle East has purchased 60 stores in the United Kingdom from another Limited Brands Inc. franchisee.
Kuwait-based M.H. Alshaya Co. bought 60 La Senza U.K. lingerie stores from franchisee Lion Capital. Limited, which bought the La Senza brand in 2007, operates 249 Canadian stores, but franchisees run stores around the world.
“Over the next several months, we will do all we can to assist them in elevating those stores and delivering a brand-right customer presentation,†Limited said in a release.
