Fresh Entrepreneurs Looking To Expand

It was a chance meeting that would have fortuitous implications. Two childhood friends ran into each other at an Atlanta airport after going years without seeing one another. They chatted, caught up on life and decided that maybe they should open up a restaurant in South Florida.

One year later, Tim Dobravolskis called up his buddy Oscar de Armas — already having relocated to Fort Lauderdale — and said, “Let’s do this.”

And so emerged Zona Fresca, a fresh, quick-service style restaurant that featured the type of Mexican cuisine Dobravolskis and de Armas grew up eating in Southern California.
