McDonald’s To Hire 2500 Workers After Sales Boost

Mirror.co.uk:

Fast food firm McDonald’s is hiring an extra 2,500 workers after raking in record sales.

The burger giant’s latest jobs boost, which takes its UK workforce to 90,000, will be needed to cope with extra customers as it builds 10 to 15 new restaurants, gets busier and has longer opening hours.

Half the new jobs are likely to go to people under 25 – sparking praise from both Prime Minister David Cameron AND his deputy Nick Clegg. More.
