Gourmet pizza brand Pizza Capers has introduced across all its Australian stores a new and improved gluten free pizza base that co-founder Scott Geiszler describes as”crunchier, crispier and lighter than traditional gluten-free pizzas”.
Geiszler said “With Coeliac disease affecting approximately 1in 100 Australians, this pizza base will meet strong consumer demand for more gluten free pizza products.
“The uptake is significant, though it varies from store to store and region to region,” Geiszler told Franchising. “Roughly 15 percent of our orders feature at least one product which is gluten free.
“The gluten free base is available across the entire menu.
