The Shelton owner of Panchero’s Mexican Grill was named Franchisee of the Year by the Iowa-based company. This is the first year the company has given the award. Lou Kathrakis, 30, opened Panchero’s located at 704 Bridgeport Ave. in 2007.
“I feel honored to be the first recipient of the award and look forward to getting it again hopefully,†Kathrakis said. “Things are going very well and I am looking to expand in 2012.â€
As for his approach to running a business in the current economy, Kathrakis said he contributes his success to organized management and pride in the food. More.
