Royal Burger Chain To Open Six Fast Food Restaurants In 2012, Enter Kyiv Market In 2013

Interfax:

Krymbin Group LLC (Ivano-Frankivsk), which is developing the Royal Burger fast food restaurant chain in Ukraine, plans in 2012 to open up to six of its own and franchised restaurants in Western Ukraine, while today the chain includes two outlets, Manager for Royal Burger Chain Development Vadym Halchak has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Today we have two restaurants, including our own one in Ivano-Frankivsk and a franchising one in Uzhgorod. We plan in 2012 to open two or three of our own restaurants and two or three franchised restaurants in Western Ukraine, particularly Mukacheve, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi,” he said.

He said that investment in one outlet as part of a food court starts from $35,000, while the cost of a stationary outlet starts from $40,000.

“We plan to enter the Kyiv market in 2013. We’re cooperating with a real estate agency, viewing premises at a good price, but we have not found a good one yet,” Halchak said.
