It’s been about a month since a Montana-based franchisee closed several Northwest Wendy’s locations, including two in Yakima.
The obvious question, of course, is whether those eateries will reopen.
Last week I caught up with Jack Quatman, a Whitefish, Mont., attorney representing the franchisee, BZB Enterprises, to get more details.
What we know is that Wendy’s International terminated BZB Enterprises’ franchise agreements for the Pacific Northwest locations for failure to meet food safety and sanitation standards.
