UFood Grill Introduces Healthier Customized Value Meals

March 14, 2012 by Cris | 0 Comments

UFood Restaurant Group Inc. is pleased to announce that when they open their first of three locations at the Aberdeen Proving Ground military base in Maryland, they’ll introduce a new healthier way for troops to build value into their diets – it’s called “Smart Meal Deals”. A “Smart Meal Deal” is created by choosing any item on the menu (at an a la carte price), then adding one of five fresh sides, like baked UnFries™, Steamed Broccoli, Black Beans, Whole Grain Brown Rice or Sweet Potato Mash, along with a choice of bottled water or fountain beverage – all for just $2.49 added to the a la carte price.

The “Smart Meal Deal” approach provides great taste, solid value and importantly – healthier choices. UFood sees this initiative as taking the lead in building better value for people by giving them healthier options and more control at a great price. UFood’s “Smart Meal Deal” will also address Washington’s desire to improve eating standards in the military.
