A one-day event in Wilmington is set to cover all aspects of owning a franchise.
On May 2, the Delaware Small Business and Technology Development Center, the Small Business Administration, the International Franchise Association, and the Delaware Economic Development Offices will present “Opportunities in Franchising: How to be in Business for Yourself, But Not by Yourself.â€
The event will provide inside knowledge on the nuts and bolts of owning a successful franchise and include a number of informational sessions designed to cover vital topics such as: the fundamentals of franchising, advantages and disadvantages, and how to evaluate franchise options; the legal aspects of franchising, how to protect yourself, and what you need to know before you sign on the dotted line.
