Carpe Diem Seizes Expansion Opportunity

April 20, 2012 by Mark | 0 Comments (blog):

Richardson-based upscale preschool operator Carpe Diem is seizing the opportunity to expand through franchising, founder and CEO Ashley Murphree tells me.

The company recently opened a fourth school, a location in Southlake, to test drive the idea. The other schools are in Richardson, Frisco and Allen.

By the end of the year, Carpe Diem would like to start development on schools in Coppell, the Dallas Uptown area and Mansfield, Murphree told me this week. After that, Carpe Diem would like to have schools in the North Austin/Round Rock area, Northwest and Northeast San Antonio, and in The Woodlands area of Houston as well as the city’s downtown.
