Business Standard:

CNI Enterprise (India), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysian $300 million multi-level marketing company Creative Network International (CNI), is all set to expand operations in India. The three-year-old Indian venture is moving into the western market with its own office in Mumbai.

To coincide with the opening of the Mumbai office in April, the company is also making a foray into the beauty and skincare segment. It is launching Cni-Beauty World, a twin-range comprising basic skin care and intensive skin care products.

CNI is present in the whole of south India, Guwahati in the east and Delhi in the north. “With the entry into the Mumbai market, we will cover most of the important regions in the country. We see vast potential for growth in India, and it is very important for us to be present across the country,” Vincent Selvarajoo, senior manager (sales & marketing) of CNI, said.

CNI today has over 15,000 distributors in India. The company is starting training sessions for its distributors in Mumbai this week. “We are readying the infrastructure, including training new distributors and staff, and will start operations by April,” Selvarajoo added.
