Natural products industry veteran Susan Haeger has been named Vice President Corporate Communications and Government Affairs of ECONET, Inc. ECONET is the parent company for Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Aloecorp, Inc. and Univera LifeSciences, Inc. (formerly Oasis LifeSciences) and is part of a global family of health companies with operations in South Korea, Russia, China, Mexico, Europe and the United States.

Ms. Haeger has more than 20 years experience in the natural and organic products industry. She has served in a number of leadership roles with New Hope Natural Media since 2001, most recently as Vice President Strategic Global Affairs. Prior to New Hope, Haeger served as president/chief executive officer of Citizens for Health, the nation’s leading consumer advocacy organization for choice in health care. Before taking over Citizens leadership in 1995 she was co-founder of Ascent Marketing, a specialist marketing and communications company serving natural, organic and sustainable product companies.
