This is exactly what Pat Davis, the president of Passion Parties, the Las Vegas-based company that supplies Reinertsen with her products and training, calls the company’s mission. “We are really helping educate women, helping them have better relationships,� she says.
If my three nights of Passion Partying in small-town Missouri are any indication, Davis has tapped into a very receptive audience, and one quite willing to pay for vibrators, dildos, lubricants and other products that boost their sexual pleasure.
Reinertsen’s sales network, which includes herself and those she has brought into the fold, made more than $1.2 million in sales in 2005. She took home more than $100,000 in personal income. She’ll do better in 2006, and most of those sales will come from small towns and rural locations in eastern Kansas and western Missouri.

Passion parties is nothing more then a rich MLM, that sells illegal sex toy contrabans…
I was a passion party consultant for several years, lost Thousands of Dollars with Passion Parties. FACT: Some of Passion Parties sex toys are of the lowest wholesale quality. Toys offten arrive DOA, one customer complaint “my new toy started smoking” and when i wanted to tell the public the truth, passion parties offered to take me to court to shut my site down.
You notice how no one seems to talk about the downside of this company, there is one, passion parties just does not want people to know about it.

I on the otherhand have had nothing but success with Passion Parties! We have a great time with our hostesses who walk away with free product and guests go home with gifts too! What betterway to spend a few hours with girlfriends than to have a Passion Party, check out new toys, learn new things for the bedroom and walk away with items that go BUZZZZ in the night? I agree Cathy. Every ounce of effort I’ve put into my Passion Parties business has brought me great returns, each and every time.
The company has never disappointed me and I’ve never had a complaint from any of the hundreds of ladies who have attended our parties.
By the way, sex toys are NOT illegal. “jsmith” is obviously a disgruntled ex-consultant or someone trying bash an opportunity in an attempt to elevate their own. I’ve been in the home business industry for a few years, so I see that alot .
I encourage anyone to seek reviews from more than one source when evaluating a home business or product. I’ve found that when a product is truly faulty or an opportunity is actually a scam, the responses and reviews will be overwhelmingly negative. With a simple Google search, you’ll find this not to be true with Passion Parties.
Yes, Passion Parties is MLM. And? When did MLM become synonymous with scam? Multi-Level Marketing is a legitimate and efficient way to become wealthy, for EVERYONE. The secret is, you have to put some effort into it. Who here thinks they can become wealthy with no effort?

I too am a Passion Consultant and have been for almost 4 years…I have had nothing but enormous success!! Passion Parties is true to itself and Women Helping Women! Passion Parties is also a Debt Free company…how many other Companies can say that??

Wow, I’m really shocked by JSmith’s post! I’ve been a Passion Party consultant for 3 years and have never had a problem with products. My experience with the company has been wonderful. In the rare instance where a product may not work (usually user error with battery placement) I’ve been able to exchange it for a new one…no questions asked! I highly doubt JSmith is or ever was a consultant. There is absolutly no way that has happened to her/him!

I am sad to hear of jsmith’s experience. In fact, quality was the main reason I chose the sex toy / adult romance party I joined – even moreso than commission structure – because a consultants personal name and reputation is at stake as we are the front line selling items to friends and family.
So while not everyone at her company may have seen or witnessed the same dilemma’s, we all can certainly understand her desire to be representing a product line that is not cheaply made or breaks upon 1st use. And in certain states it is illegal to sell sex toys (Alabama may be one of them off the top of my head). But that’s another topic I don’t care to get into.
In contrast to her experience, my company, Booty Parlor Parties, sells high quality designer toys from places like the UK, Sweden, and Germany. Items such as Iris, Lelo, and SinFlutt. Rather than selling “lowest wholesale quality” (her words) from other remote places.
We, of course, sell similar popular items our competition sells, such as “rabbits” and “doc johnson” items to compete. But these items are not sent in the standard wholesaler’s clamshell plastic packages. Booty Parlor double checks each item for quality and then sends them to my customers in gorgeous tiffany-style boxes that double as storage boxes, along with the batteries necessary wrapped up in tissue like smarties candies.

But to be clear, I am not knocking Passion Parties by any means! I am sure there are many women who have had wonderful careers with the company and many have even written above to that fact. I just originally wrote to say that I understood her desire for quality and to share my point of view on the matter.

I have been with passion parties for a year now and was with a different home based biz company prior to this.
Passion Parties is the most incredible company you can work for in my eyes.
They are so good to us consultants. They truly understand that we are waht make them successful. I am so happy and making a TON of money. I love running my team of 36 girls and we have a blast. Sorry for the negative girl that couldn’t make it…Passion Parties rule!

I love Passion Parties there is no other place to be, I have made awesome money and have more time to spend with my family and get to work from home for the most part other then doing a party when I want. I used to work a 9 to 5 job and now I dont have to. I wouldnt ask for anything else to be honest, I have been with them since April 2003 and the products are the best. We educate women and also give the chance to buy the products in the privacy of your own home. Just my opinion. Thanks Ronda

I am also a Passion Parties consultant. Im sorry to hear about jsmith’s experiance. Passion Parties was obviously not a fit for you. I hope you found something that you could work with on your journey to success . I am confused why he/she could just not have returned the toy to corm because we do have a 90 day defective policy with all of our toys.
I have been working with Passion Parties for just over a year, I do 6-8 parties a month, and I have not had one person complain about a DOA toy yet, and I have yet to return a product as a defective.
