From novice to gourmet, local cooks are following trends they see on television.

“It seems that with the growing popularity of the Food Network, people want what they see on television,” said Brenda Binversie, Sheboygan, an independent sales director with The Pampered Chef.

Many customers inquire about The Pampered Chef’s professional-quality cookware and cutlery because they’ve seen professionals like Rachel Ray use similar products, Binversie said.
