Gold Canyon Candle, the multimillion-dollar company that began 10 years ago in a kitchen, is doubling its Chandler manufacturing site and has expanded its sales force into Canada in Toronto and Calgary.
“People received our candles as gifts up there and wondered where they could get them,” said Curt Waisath, Gold Canyon chief executive officer.
Gold Canyon is adding 100,000 square feet to its building on 20 acres at Arizona Avenue and Riggs Road. The addition will double the current production and warehouse space. Construction is expected to be finished in April 2008.

They are not the only ones. Scent Sations or Mia Bella is also building a huge new factory 10 times the size of their current one. Candles are big business.

I have been an Independent Demonstrator for some time now and I must say that it has been a great experience. I don’t have a lot of time in my already jam-packed schedule so I wasn’t sure if starting a small business based on “networking” would be a good fit. However, I’ve discovered that a great product will sell itself and generate incredible demand for information on the business opportunity.
Here is how my business grew:
I started leaving catalogs around the office and my wife started spreading the word to visit our Gold Canyon Candle website to order directly online. We dropped off a stack of catalogs at our church and also volunteered to host a fund raiser at our daughters school (Gold Canyon gives 25% of sales to the school). As a result, we have dozens of repeat customers and a growing team of demonstrators selling in different parts of the country and Canada. So, we’ve been generating hundreds of dollars in commissions each month based on those simple steps. We’ve decided that if we put some “real” effort into this that we could grow that monthly income around $1600 per month after any marketing and promotional expenses.
I was very skeptical of Network Marketing companies, but I am SOLD on Gold Canyon Candles.
If you enjoy scented candles and aromatherapy please visit our website to buy candles or to obtain information on becoming an Independent Demonstrator.
Also, you can email us from the website and we’ll send you a free candle to sample the great fragrances.
Be well.

Wow, nice stories, I just became a distibutor for GC and it has not been a very great start. I read all there materials, passed out catalogs, made business cards, purchased sign for my vehicle. I guess I am just the unfortunate one. I have no sales It has been a loss to me. They are GREAT candle I love them and I want to share with others that they are worth purchasing. But when they look at the price and then THE SHIPPING $10.00 for one candle, that turns them away immediately. Just dont know what to do. My upline is across the united states from me. I dont want to give up because I am not a quitter and I believe in the product and I believe its worth it, but its making others believe. ANY COMMENTS. Help from California

Don’t give up!! Don’t quit! I was a distributor for a company whose products were WAY more expensive than GCC’s, and I did great.
However, I was looking for a bit more to offer my customers, and found GCC.
Do not let your upline being across county be your excuse. Plug into the industry greats, let them teach you.
I HIGHLY recommend Jan Ruhe for one.

Would anyone be able to supply me with informaiton on a Demonstrator in or near Overland Park, KS? Thanks!
J Maccarone on May 29th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
I am interested in being a demonstrator. My concern is that if I just grab a local demonstrator to be my upline, I won’t get the level of expertise and motivation that I am looking for. Anyway I can hook up with a Manager or Director who lives in the San Diego or Southern Orange county area in California? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I don’t want to waste my time, so to speak, with just anyone.
