Leading Avon saleswoman opens local retail outlet :: Naperville Sun :: Business
In December, Tina Kapton opened Got Avon – a licensed corporate
store whose owner just might make the Who’s Who of retail sales in the
metropolitan area. Kapton, who got on board the Avon train about nine
years ago has been the region’s No. 1 salesperson for the past two
years and claims she will knock down the title again this year.Upscale location
Her district
manager, Sharon Bychowski, boasts that her saleswoman is No. 1 out of
830 sales people in the district, making her the perfect candidate to
open an Avon retail outlet. Kapton was also No. 1 in sales increases
over the previous year, as well as first in recruiting.Bychowski believes Kapton and her husband, Scott, are both “great business partners who complement each other well.”
“Tina is incredibly good at planning and seeing things through,”
Bychowski said. “Her perseverance is something you don’t see in a lot
of people. And the store she’s opened, its location and the clientele
it serves are absolutely perfect. It’s an upscale area, and we know
people will want our products.”
