The Whig Standard:

It’s a hands down sure thing that an arm load of cuffs, chains, bangles and rings can rev up your fall wardrobe without breaking the bank.

“Jewelry really does make the outfit,” says Bonnie Kelly, a cofounder of Silpada Designs. “We’ve found time and time again, that even last season’s outfits can look fresh when accessorized with the right jewelry.”

Whether your taste runs to multiple chain necklaces, pendants, stacked bracelets, whimsical fashion rings or favourite sentimental pieces that you already have, you can pile them on in style.

“Find a piece you love, and then build on that look,” says Teresa Walsh, a co-founder of Silpada Designs.”Layering is key this fall to giving your wardrobe a bold look,”

Chains and the heavy metal look take the lead in both necklaces and bracelets, and there’s extra interest created by mixed metals.

The mixed metal look includes silver, gold, bronze, copper and pewter plated metals in matte and shiny versions. Fashion’s stamp of approval extends to black plated and oxidized gunmetal tones.
