Reliv International, Inc. today announced the hiring of Lori Sauerwein as director of strategic development. This is a new position at Reliv.
Sauerwein will be responsible for strategic planning. She’ll also focus on creating a social media strategy that fits within Reliv’s overall strategy.
“Lori knows Reliv very well, having been a consultant for us for 12 years,” said Ryan Montgomery, Reliv’s executive vice president for worldwide sales. “She also has tremendous knowledge of direct-selling companies based on 25 years of experience in the industry. I look forward to her making more great contributions to Reliv.”
Sauerwein previously owned the consulting firm Sauerwein Communications, which specialized in marketing communications and marketing strategy for direct-selling companies. In addition to working with Reliv, she consulted for other direct-selling companies such as Tupperware, PartyLite and The Body Shop at Home. Other clients included Pizza Hut and Rent-A-Center.
Prior to establishing her consulting firm, Sauerwein worked at Tupperware for 10 years, where she held positions in publications, sales and marketing.
