Scentsy, a Meridian manufacturer of scented, wickless candles, kicked off a two-day seminar Wednesday at the Grove Hotel for more than 100 members of the Direct Selling Association.
The seminar topic is how to succeed in the face of economic or operational challenges. The agenda includes sharing sessions, a Scentsy facility tour, a presentation by Melaleuca of Idaho Falls and Oxyfresh.com of Coeur d’Alene.
“Five years ago when we launched Scentsy, we gained tremendous knowledge and insight from other direct selling companies,” said CEO Orville Thompson. “There’s no doubt in my mind that our success is due in part to the tremendous resources that the DSA offers its members as well as having a talented consultant network and simple product.

Scentsy is a great company. Their products are of the highest quality and their customer service is second to none. The way the allow their independent consultants market the Scentsy products with such flexibility is what appealed to me the most. No other direct sales company has such flexibility.
