Workplace Safety Is No Accident For Usana

For USANA Health Sciences, Inc. outstanding workplace safety is no accident as winners of the Workers’ Compensation Fund (WCF) 2010 Charles A. Caine Award for Workplace Safety. Out of 24,000 Utah companies the WCF serves, USANA, along with 15 other Utah companies, was honored at a Traditions of Safety event Thursday, June 03, 2010 at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake.

Utah companies nominated for this award are judged on their safety record and success in creating a safe workplace. “Annually we honor companies for their efforts in protecting workers from workplace accidents and injuries,” said Ray Pickup, president and CEO of WCF. “Ever since we launched the Be Careful Out There campaign we have seen an ongoing trend of incorporating families in employers’ efforts to create an accident-free workplace.” As such, all of USANA’s safety-sensitive areas have been two or more years without accidents.

As one of Utah’s leading businesses, USANA recognizes the continual need for preventing workplace accidents and injury.
