Mary Kay has announced Operation Sunblock, a project to send sun protecting cosmetics to American troops overseas.
The company is asking for $20 donations to finance care packages including Mary Kay sunblock, replenishing gel and SPF 15 lip balm.
“I know how I have felt in the last 10 days with the temperatures soaring up to 100, and we can stay inside in air conditioning,” a representative for Mary Kay said. “Our troops have to be ready all the time and they do have to have some kind of sun protection.”
