Pryor Daily Times:

Two local moms are supplementing their incomes while offering area moms snap shots of their children’s lives.

Kristy Troyer and Melissa McClendon, correspondents for The Daily Times and first-time mothers, created Snap Shot Moms in September.

Snap Shot Moms is an online photography service of community events and sports in Mayes County.

“We both take pictures for The Daily Times and we have all these extra pics,” said McClendon, whose son Jasper is 15-months-old. “Why not make a little extra money?” Typically, the newspaper uses only one or two photographs from each event they cover. McClendon said she thought Snap Shot Moms would be a good way to add to her husband’s income.

Snap Shot Moms offers an online gallery of photos at People can view the galleries and pick which picture and what size print they’d like to order. Everything from browsing to paying for the photo can be done online. The prints will be delivered directly to the customer’s home.

The Web site has over 700 photos of all five county football teams, Band Day pictures, Mayes County Fair, Chouteau Day pictures, Pryor and Locust Grove Little League and Pryor, Adair, Locust Grove and Chouteau’s homecomings.
