StatesmanJournal.com:
I have found myself exchanging information with other parents, including telephone numbers and addresses, for setting up times our kids can get together.
I tend to use a scratch piece of paper or give a parent one of my business cards to exchange information.
In the past couple of weeks, thought, I have received business cards from stay-at-home moms. What a great idea!
The Web sites www.cardsformoms.com and www.littlepigglewiggle.com have a wonderful selection of business cards to choose from.
The cards typically have the mom’s name, the name of her kids, phone number, home address and an e-mail address.
You can even do a two-sided card with directions to your home or, if you work outside of the home, you can give your business information, too. Another idea is to add the days and/or hours you work out of the home.
The business cards I received gave me extra comfort in knowing how to reach a parent in the event of an emergency when I was caring for their child. Listing known allergies or special needs that a child has also could be beneficial information to another parent while that child was in their care.
