In its longtime fight to help end domestic violence, Mary Kay Inc. has teamed up with actress and celebrity Amanda Bynes together with non-profit partner Break the Cycle. Bynes visited a Los Angeles high school recently to talk with students about ways to create healthy relationships and prevent and end teen dating violence.

As part of the event, Bynes and Mary Kay Inc. will announce a new, national campaign petitioning lawmakers nationwide to make domestic violence prevention awareness mandatory in schools. The online petition will be available at beginning December 2. Currently, only Texas and Rhode Island have required domestic violence prevention to be part of its public school curriculum. Amanda Bynes will lead the online effort as she becomes the first person to sign the petition.
