The 1979 Jefferson Davis High School graduate want ed to be there at the carpool as her two sons grew up.

While working on the side planning high school reun ions, she discovered a niche in the advertising world sell ing promotional items and generating marketing ideas.

She started knocking on doors offering her services to businesses in 1999 and Ad Ideas was born. The east Montgomery business, built and fueled by working moth ers, now gives Coley-Adams the freedom as owner to join the line of cars at school and attend parent-teacher meetings. And the other five mothers at Ad Ideas all have their families at the top of their lists, too.

“Everyone here is a moth er first,” Coley-Adams said. “We are family first and we take care of the business, and the business takes care of us.”
