Upland Woman Named To ABWA's Top Ten List

Inland Valley Daily Bulletin:

Renee Futter is in the Top Ten.

She’s been nominated three times, and apparently the third time, and a lot of hard work, has provided the charm. The Upland woman has been named to the prestigious American Business Women’s Association’s Top Ten.

Futter is the area manager of Arbonne International, a Swiss skin-care company known for its botanically based and hypoallergenic products. And she’s managed to find a successful balance between meeting her professional goals while maintaining her commitment to helping out in the community.

For the past 50 years, ABWA has honored 10 women from throughout the nation for their achievements with their careers, their educations and their community involvement.

“This is a big deal,” Futter said. “And I am honored. I hope to use this so I can be a spokeswoman for ABWA and to introduce people to this wonderful organization.”

Organization and outside judges chose the Top Ten from a field of 850.

“I was hopeful, but still a little surprised when they told me I had won. I think the difference this time from in the past is that I really told my story, writing down what I have been able to accomplish personally and professionally while still being involved with the community,” she said.
