Gamer Doc™, the retail video game store that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced the opening of its first store in Canada, where the entire family can come in and have fun shopping for their favorite Xbox 360®, Wii® and PlayStation 3® video games, accessories and more.

Frank Bajc and his son James are Area Developers for the metropolitan area surrounding Toronto, and this is their first store. They have plans to open multiple Gamer Doc stores in their area over the next five years.

“Our expansion into Canada is very exciting, and we believe that Gamer Doc will be a big hit with gamers of all ages in Burlington,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “Frank and James bring a strong retail background to the team and we look forward to great success.”

“The Gamer Doc store design is inviting to all gamers, from hardcore enthusiasts to casual players and those who are new to gaming,” Frank said. “Our Gamer Centers for Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 make it easy for customers to come in and find the consoles, games and accessories they want. People who just want to come in and pick-up, pre-order or rent a game can be in and out very quickly, while those who want to browse or ask questions can take as much time as they like. We are here to make sure that shopping at Gamer Doc is an enjoyable experience and that our customers come back to see us for all of their gaming needs.”

“Video games are quickly becoming the most popular form of entertainment for young people, moms and dads, and even senior citizens, and we are happy to answer questions, talk about their favorite games and introduce them to new ones,” James said. “Gamer Doc is more than a video game store; it is an entertainment center. We also sell flat-panel HD monitors and cables, and are happy to show our customers how to hook-up their systems for optimum game play.”

The Burlington Gamer Doc store is located at 3350 Fairview Street. Store hours are from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The telephone number is 905-631-8390 and the website is http://www.gamerdoc.com/locations.aspx.
