Defining your personal brand can be overwhelming. We are complex individuals with so many passions and aspects to our lives. So where do you start?
You should begin by taking a step back and looking at where you are in your career and where you would like to be. This helps you to define your goals and setting the course for obtaining those goals.
Then you need to take a look at your passions, the thing’s in life that make you happy, try to keep the list down to a mere 4 or 5 so you don’t get overwhelmed. Then cut out all the negative aspects including people in your life.
Next you need to follow your instincts, it will never lead you wrong. So if you have a strong idea for the brand that you want and you just know it will work for you and your company…then go with that one and create the brand that truly represents you.
