As franchising industry leaders intensify their search for solutions to the recession, the International Franchise Association is stepping up its support efforts by conducting a series of Leadership Roundtable brain-storming sessions across the country.
Recent gatherings in Philadelphia, Denver and Orange County, Calif., drew numbers of franchise system heads whose ideas and suggestions are being collected and compiled by IFA as action items lawmakers and policy leaders must address quickly.
Next stops for the Leadership Roundtable series include Chicago on May 5, Dallas on May 14 and Tampa/St. Petersburg, Fla., on June 4. IFA also recently designed an information-resource Toolkit to enable the franchising community to build grassroots pressure to unlock frozen credit markets.
