Pizza Pizza Opens Second Restaurant In Saskatchewan

eMediaWorld.com:

Pizza Pizza Limited, Canada’s pizza pioneer, opened the doors to a second traditional restaurant in Saskatchewan on May 3rd. The restaurant, located at 806 Albert Street South, in South Side Regina, is part of a Canada-wide strategic expansion.

The local partner, Sara Nawab, brings two years of previous experience as a franchisee with another company. Her husband Abid, who is also heavily involved in the operation of the store, has previous experience in the import and export industry and as an entrepreneur.

The Regina restaurant is the first in the city and second in the province after the March opening of a location in Swift Current. It is also the latest in a series of openings that have included Delta, British Colombia, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Montreal, Quebec.

“We wanted to change our lives. We saw that Pizza Pizza was an organized company that was growing,” said Mr. Nawab. “The response from our customers, so far, has been very positive. We are looking forward to helping the company build its presence here in Saskatchewan.”

The new owners have hired 13 full and part-time local staff in preparation for the opening.
