Today businesses are sorting through a stack of employment applications wondering which ones will be the best choice for their company. The more applicants makes it harder to choose whom you think will be the best fit not just for the company but for the current employees as well. Here are some traits to look for that point towards the right person, recently found on Office Hero Headquarters.

  • The right people can work almost 100% of the time on their own without a helping hand from you or other co-workers. They don’t need to have their hands held throughout the work day.
  • The right people display window-and-mirror maturity. When things go well, the right people point out the window, giving credit to factors other than themselves; they shine a light on others who contributed.
  • The right person will always fulfill their quota without any complaints. When they say they will do something by a certain time they actually have it done on time and are not spouting off about having to do it.
  • Most importantly the right person will fit the companies core values. They will tie into the mission statement, and fit in with the current theme of employees on staff.
