Bigger Isn't Always Better, And These Mom's Know It

Although she has lived in the United States for nearly 15 years, Orlando resident Ceci Livingston couldn’t help but notice the difference between the product offerings for babies and toddlers in the US versus her native Sweden.

“In Sweden we were used to clean lines and functional products. Less is more, so to speak. Many Swedish families live in smaller apartments and need functional practical products to accommodate their space,” said Livingston. “For example, we had never seen such big cribs as you would find in the American baby stores. The Swedish cribs are much smaller and fit easily through your door.”

Together with her childhood friend Linda Johnson, Livingston started ComfyMe.com as an alternative to the baby products commonly found in American retail stores such as Wal-Mart, Target or Babies R Us.
