America’s Best Franchising Grows Operating Portfolio By 38 Percent In 2009

HotelWorld Network:

Unsettled times are becoming more settled – certainly for the five hotel brands operated by America’s Best Franchising Incorporated, which during the third quarter of 2009 sold nine new franchises with a total of 584 rooms and opened 11 new properties with a total of 757 rooms.

This brings the company’s results for the first nine months of 2009 to 34 new franchises sold totaling 2,293 rooms and 33 new properties opened totaling 2,334 rooms.

Since the start of the year, America’s Best Franchising has grown a robust 38% in properties under operation.

These figures include the growth achieved under a long-term licensing agreement signed in August with Los Angeles-based Vagabond Franchise System, Inc., which provided America’s Best Franchising with management responsibility for 43 existing Vagabond properties in California and one property in Nevada.

“Our brands provide hotel entrepreneurs with a clear advantage, especially in turbulent times,” explains Doug Collins, chief executive officer of America’s Best Franchising.
