Cable network A&E’s series “Hoarders” will have a Springfield twist when its new episode airs Monday night.
The program features cases of compulsive hoarders looking to clean out the junk in their homes, and the Springfield franchisee of 1-800-GOT-JUNK helped with the heavy lifting in the latest episode.
Tonight’s episode focuses on a Tulsa, Okla., woman named Gail, who faced having her home condemned because of its extremely cluttered state.
Clay McGee, the junk-hauling company’s Springfield franchisee, said his office was called in because A&E has an exclusive agreement with 1-800-GOT-JUNK on the corporate level, and the Springfield office is the closest to Tulsa.
