Based on their combined decor and business administrative expertise, a mother and daughter team has established a Christmas decor store just in time for season.
Called Dash Away Dash Away, it is situated in the Marco Town Center next to Obsession women’s boutique.
Heather Dill and her mom Susan decided to take the plunge because Susan has for many years been helping people with Christmas decor, and figured that a store would be a logical progression.
Heather, a former Florida Atlantic University who studied economics and business, said she picked up hands-on administrative experience by working for her dad’s company, Dill & Sons Construction.
“My mom could do the trees and ornaments, but needed me for the paperwork,” she said.
The Dill mom and daughter team have made sure their prices are competitive, with trees ranging from about $120 all the way through $1,000.
