Cartridge World, an eco-friendly retailer of printer cartridge recharging services, is planning to expand its franchise network to 250 stores by 2012 in India, said a top official here.

Cartridge World launched the sixth franchisee store at Laketown in Kolkata. The store was launched by West Bengal IT minister Debesh Das.

Naveen Rakhecha – CEO – South Asia, Cartridge World said “Cartridge World has a strong presence in all the major Indian cities. We are now looking at aggressively expanding into Tier II and Tier III cities too.”

“After the Lake Town store we are set to launch our 7th store in Kolkata located at Kasba in the first week of January 2010 and 3 to 4 more stores in the coming year,” he said.
