Mint Hill Athletic Association Wins Big With Flapjack Fundraiser

The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to have helped the Mint Hill Athletic Association to raise over $1,209 in just two hours at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. The proceeds raised will go directly to the Mint Hill basketball program.

“Congratulations to the volunteers and members of the Mint Hill Athletic Association who really helped to make this fundraiser so successful,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of Apple Gold Group. “We hope the money raised at the Mint Hill breakfast will allow more children to benefit from their basketball program.”

The Mint Hill Athletic Association Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on December 19th by the Applebee’s Restaurant located at 9616 E. Independence Blvd., Matthews, NC. The team sold almost 250 tickets to the event. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and milk.
