Inventor David Allen of Genoa Township said his recently launched business – Wow Products USA – is rightfully named, reports The Livingston Daily.
When people see them, the first word out of their mouth is usually: ‘Wow,’ ” Allen said.
“Our products have to be unique, one of a kind. That’s how we compete,” he said.
Allen said the company is growing fast and recently landed two national contracts with stores that want to sell his general-interest inventions.
“We’ve already sold more than we can make,” Allen said. “We have the exact opposite problem of everybody else. We’ve got more sales than we can fill.”
One of Allen’s most popular inventions is the Instant Tire Traction, which is a ridged plastic device meant to increase an automobile’s tire traction on slippery surfaces. The device is meant to help drivers never get stuck in snow again but doubles as an ice scraper.
