Red Mango To Open In North Carolina

Chain Leader:

Red Mango, one of the nation’s fastest-growing retailers of all-natural nonfat frozen yogurt, has signed a multi-unit development agreement with Steve Mosh for five stores in North Carolina.

Mosh’s development agreement covers a six-county corridor that encompasses the Research Triangle and Piedmont Triad, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro, where the first store will open this summer.

Mosh recently retired after a 30-year career with Ecolab, a leading global supplier to the foodservice industry. During that time, he and his family lived all over the country, with stops in Chicago, Dallas, New York, and the Twin Cities, before his final transfer nine years ago to Greensboro, North Carolina.

“My family and I have lived in Greensboro longer than anywhere else, and it’s truly our home,” he said. “We’re very involved in the community, and we wanted to open a business that would benefit our friends and neighbors in North Carolina. Red Mango is more than frozen yogurt, it’s a frozen treat that meets the needs of increasingly health-conscious consumers.”
