Lifestyle Center Debuts In Port Orange

Orlando Business Journal:

A 415,000-square-foot open-air shopping center in Volusia County opened March 10 as one of the few large-scale retail centers slated to debut this year, bringing an estimated 2,000 jobs to the region.

The Pavilion at Port Orange, developed by Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and Amherst, N.Y.-based The Benchmark Group, is more than 92 percent leased or committed with anchors, including a 14-screen Hollywood Theaters, Belk, Homegoods, Marshalls, Michaels, Petco and Ulta Beauty.

Oviedo-based Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchisee Bengel’s Burgers LLC opened its 12th Central Florida location — and first in Volusia — on March 8 in the center, and a 246-seat, 7,534-square-foot Olive Garden restaurant also opened on the same day.
