Ever wanted to play a board game about San Clemente?
Beth Yamamuro, a language teacher and mother, designed the game to test people’s knowledge of the city. Players spin a dial that lands on one of four categories: eat, shop, play or live. Players then draw a card related to the category. Answering the question correctly lets you move a space. The player to hit North Beach first wins.
Yamamuro hopes to get feedback about the game before she decides to enter production. She designed the game because her family often hosts exchange students and she is always looking for ways to show people what San Clemente has to offer.
