Many of us do a lot of marketing activity throughout our day of doing business, the problem with this is that we don’t have time to track it, forget to track it or don’t know how to track it. Below are some great tips that I came across on Small Biz Survival that is sure to make it a little easier to track your daily marketing activity.

  • Divide your total goal into smaller pieces. That will make it easier to put it into perspective. For example if your goal is $2000 in the next month then you should average around 20 ad’s for $200 each.
  • Make a list of how many contacts you need to and should be contacting to ensure that you hit your goals on time.
  • Always make time to follow through on your daily goals.

When nothing seems to help, I look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet, at the 101st blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that last blow that did it, but all that had gone before. -Jacob A. Riis
