Catering To New England’s Particular Pizza Taste

Rick Wolf is the president of Papa Gino’s Inc., the parent company of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches. The company operates more than 370 Papa Gino’s and D’Angelos in New England. He spoke with Globe reporter D.C. Denison.

As a regional pizza company, do you have to cater to uniquely New England preferences?
In New England, it’s all about mom and pop pizzerias. That’s what makes it unique from the rest of the country. There are many more “House of Pizzas’’ here than the rest of the country.
