Although many franchisees are owner-operators and are content to run a single franchise, increasingly, savvy franchise owners are operating not just multiple outlets of the same franchise, but multiple franchise brands.
The benefits are manifold. Not only does the multi-brand franchise strategy give owners more leverage with shopping centre management, it also generates economies of scale and gives franchisees more bang for their marketing buck.
