One start-up business owner will win a day at Virgin Airlines founder Sir Richard Branson’s private island to network with the experienced entrepreneur.
According to the OC Register, that’s the top prize in a startup competition for the third Global Entrepreneurship Week, Nov. 15 to 21.The Startup Open will identify “The GEW 50”: the 50 most promising startups launched during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Five top startups will win prizes to help them grow their businesses, including participation in a high-growth bootcamp at Kauffman Labs in Kansas city, Mo.And one will win a free trip to Necker Island in the Virgin Islands that is owned by Branson.
