Healthy Customers Drawn To KFC, Study Finds

A study conducted by a US consultancy, CFI Group, has found that 17 per cent of KFC customers listed its healthy menu offerings as the main reason why they chose to buy from that brand.

CFI surveyed 1,200 consumers who had eaten at a QSR restaurant in the past three days with the aim of determining how they came to decide where to eat.

According to QSR magazine, Joel Cohen, restaurant marketing analyst was very surprised by these findings, even though the fried chicken franchise has tried to improve its public image over recent years by changing its name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC and introducing grilled chicken options.
