An award winning film maker is among six lucky students awarded the Bartercard Australia Scholarship, allowing them to attend the Gold Coast’s Bond University from January 2011.
Brandon Lee won a BUFTA Award (Bond University Film and Television Award) for Cinematography on 26 November for his short film Simplicity and was one of the top three finalists for the overall BUFTA Awards. “The Bartercard Scholarship has allowed me to study at one of Australia’s leading film schools. Without this scholarship this amazing opportunity would not have been so readily available to me,” Lee said. The scholarship is open to children of Bartercard members, employees, franchisees and staff, and represents a combined total of $300,000 in tuition fees.
